Soultype 2 is intrinsically linked to relationship and movement, and Soultype 9 embraces the expansiveness of all there is. So, together it seemed as if we were destined to travel the world. 

The past two years we have been growing stronger in ourselves and as a couple, while bringing the beauty of who we are and how we love to the world. Living from soul only created momentum for us both until the call for exploration from the universe was too much to ignore. 

So we set off, open and excited to experience everything possible. 

We left behind our home and the sunbaked sidewalks of Los Angeles with a plan to travel across the country, and world, spending time with the people we love. 

As we write this, we have already traversed the west coast of the United States. Starting from San Diego, the southernmost tip of California, and journeying north to Seattle, Washington—1,300 miles (2,092 km)! 

Everyday life is now gilded with adventure. Experiencing cold weather has been more fun than we could have dreamed! We have quickly built a collection of cozy sweaters and warm clothing lovingly rummaged from thift stores, or discovered in colorful vintage shops along the way. The nature only grows more beautiful as we travel north. Every chance we get, rain or shine, we find a hiking trail so we can marvel at the mossy trees and snowy peaks.

One of the greatest joys of our journey has been the opportunity to meet and spend time with many people. We are feeling how our soul strengths bring joy to others in a way we never could have predicted—and it brings an unbelievable amount of joy back to us! It is as if we create a path of availability to help others feel the beauty of who they are.

But most beautifully, because we are so involved in New Equations, it always feels like we are home in ourselves and with each other.

The support of this community has been a beautiful foundation for our travels. Consciously taking the power of the Soultypes with us on our journey has been profound, and we look forward to sharing more experiences with all of you!

Jenna Tovey, Soultype 2, is the New Equations Communications Manager, and is training to become a Soultype Instructor. Leean Gill, Soultype 9, is in the NEATO Level 3 – New Equations Certified Teacher Program, and brings her artistic talents to help New Equations with graphic design.
