Using the Music
The New Equations Music is very helpful in my everyday life, and I know it could be useful for you as well! Below I list some different ways in which I’ve found the music to be beneficial, as well as which pieces I would recommend for each category. Enjoy!
The music is great to listen to while sleeping. I like to keep it on during the night, I find that I wake up more relaxed in the morning. It is also very helpful in aiding falling asleep. I often have a hard time winding down and turning off my brain at the end of the day, and the pieces that I listed below I have found to be particularly helpful for this. I put all of the songs I like to use into one playlist and play it during the night in a loop on an old iphone while I sleep. Also, for those of you out there who have roommates who don’t want you to play the music out loud (like I currently do) – you can use the ipod earbuds and sleep with one or two in. They often fall out, but if you wake up in the night you can put them back in. It’s better than nothing!
Clearing Your Head
One of the biggest complaints I hear from young people is that they have a hard time turning off their brain; their thoughts spin in circles until they are too distraught to think clearly. The music can be incredibly helpful with this, it is one of the ways I use the music most frequently. I would especially recommend the New Equations Spiritual Postures Music and Videos for this.
When I was in college I listened to the music all the time while I studied, and now I use it when I am working. It really helps me concentrate and work more efficiently.
