I know there is a bigger understanding
A place within me and all of us
I could feel it when my friend and I walked in the garden today
Our friendship has lasted for over 40 years
But truly, our souls have known each other much longer

We are held by the universe and earth
We are supported and guided
We are surrounded by love and beauty
We want to move forward together and create a better world

We need each other and every human being to unite
For a new path
For a new love
For a new state of being
For a new future
In equality

The moon and the birds are supporting me as I write these words
They know a different language
They are waiting for us to develop
And listen in a new way
And embrace the creative energy of the universe
